An Atlanta, Georgia native. Often described as a free spirit and a self-proclaimed “no-box thinker”, I am a forty-something girl with a permanently attached-at-the-hip camera. I’ve been blessed with a creative, unusual eye for seeing the extraordinary where most see ordinary.
I am super grateful for this gift because it’s led me to pursue my lifelong passion with photography as a career, and nothing has ever satisfied me much as being a professional photographer
, other than being a mother to my awesome kids.
Telling a story in photos (Documentary Photography) has evolved over time as my favorite type of photography. I have an intuitive sense of people and situations that allows me to catch authenticity on film and get those behind-the-scenes candid moments that, all added up, capture the reality that makes a life what it is.
So I created A Day in the Life Photography. Basically, the idea is “reality photography” where I unobtrusively shadow a person, a family, or a business for a full day and then create an attractive coffee-table book covering that day (or event), capturing and including those moments that make that life (or what goes on in your business) significant.
Whether you’re a busy executive jumping through hoops all day or an exhausted stay-at-home mom changing diapers, driving carpool, making PBJ sandwiches, helping with homework, etc., or a small business owner wearing countless hats and doing what it takes every day to grow your business, your daily life – right now - is significant and worthy of memorializing. And generations to come will be able to see what this slice of your life looked like ‘back in 2012′!
A “Day in the Life Photography” is also an unbeatable gift for someone you want to pay tribute to – to show someone you care about that you value who they are and how they live their life.
*This unique tribute can also be a great way to honor a special occasion: a graduation, retirement, birthday party, anniversary, pregnancy, new baby, a move to another town, a family vacation, an annual guys’ golfing trip or a girls’ getaway.*
